The Black Robes is a infantry unit unavailable in Random Map mode in Empire Earth, they appear in the Russian Campaign. In the Campaign they were created by Grigor Stoyanovich, as a police and army force. They were loyal to Grigor and in the mission Changing of the Guard they helped Grigor to eliminate his generals who tried to coup him, because they didn't accept his successor Grigor II the robot. They are the leading soldiers of Novaya Russia.
